Thank you for posting the pictures and captions - while the videos are everywhere, It’s good to be able to study the images in detail, read the descriptions and reflect on what is going on. Call and write to your member of the house and your senators and let them know that ICE is a broken agency with a culture that cannot be fixed via reforms or better training. They have deliberately hired folks who believe we have been ‘invaded’ and that maximum force is a legitimate first option. Those folks cannot be retrained - they were the wrong hire to begin with. We need immigration reform, pathways to citizenship, and ways to hold violent offenders responsible. ICE has proven to the nation that its structure, mission and culture are not up to the task. It should be discarded.

At present, Democrats don’t understand the nature of “bargaining.” You don’t make your best offer and then keep giving the opposition MORE.
The starting point needs to be
- Defund and dismantle ICE. It can’t be saved.
- Break up the Department of “Homeland Security”, keeping the useful parts and returning them to the pre-existing Departments they fit best in
- Remove Cosplay Kristi Noem (and her big, big hats) from government. By whatever means necessary.
The days of the “moderate, passive, adult-in-the-room” Democrat are over.
