If you did nothing unlawful, and you’ve been subpoenaed only as a witness, why are you fighting the subpoena?

If what Graham did was legal and well within his rights, he should have zero problem with testifying to a legally empaneled grand jury.

Lindsay is trying to wrangle the speech and debate clause of the Constitution to protect him from testifying. Not gonna work. Lindsay was not in the well of the Senate when he made his phone call. And if all Lindsay was doing was requesting information, then he should be glad – nay, EAGER – to testify. But because Lindsay has crawled up TFG’s lower intestinal tract, he is unable to see reason.
If he can just not show, why fight it in court?
