You want to get control of ICE reduce its funding. Another thought is require that ICE agents can only be deployed withing 2 miles of the border. Require agents to have name badges and no masks. How about body cams on every one of them.
Congress can do a lot of things but I doubt the Wall Street Democrats want to do anything.

Each congressional district is different. Each candidate needs to pitch their ideas of what to do about ICE and its abuses to their district accordingly. After we win in both the House and Senate the road taken can be decided. Success their will depend on either a) getting a veto proof majority (not possible ATM), or b) reducing the ICE portion of DHS to a small enough amount, and putting sufficient restrictions on ICE, that Trump can’t get around, in a bill that has to pass by majority vote. It can be done but it will be difficult. Actually abolishing ICE is a good goal but will need to happen it’s going to need a Dem President, Senate, and House.

Repeal and replace ICE.
Feckless losers. How about you actually lead on an issue of importance and rally more people to support abolishing ICE? They’re going to accuse every single one of you of already voting to do it, no matter what you do. You might as well try doing the right thing for a change, just to see how it goes. It’s even the popular thing, and it carries the benefit of stopping what is very clearly Trump’s Gestapo.

no body listens to us elderlys….we have been there, done that…sadly . other than afew young people, the DEMOCRATS are simply REPUBLICAN LIGHT…such a bunch of losers. the last time i listened to SCHUMER, on the tv..i about barfed… such a weak, weasley man…that the USA is represented by a convicted felon, alleged young girl abuser, is embarassing and shameful…REPUBLICANS actually support and cheer, for this man. and it leaves me to wonder if they are doing the same thing…
ask your self. what do these masked men do with these girls and women when they capture thm?
Looks like what some are doing from the feeds I am seeing is asking for protection money from constituents in order to pay for personal security. When the elected pols have to shake-down the voters for more bodyguard money, there is not much democracy remaining.

I am sick and tired of business as usual. that course of action has simply failed. Democrats should have chartered planes and descended into Minneapolis for a massive street demonstration. instead they seem to think it’s enough to pontificate behind the dais. it’s a five alarm fire and they’re advocating for a bucket brigade not even tonight but maybe tomorrow. people will follow leaders. act boldly and unseen forces will come to your aid.

I might have once been counted as a proud centrist Democrat; but the idea of keeping the American Gestapo around if Democrats ever have power is a bridge too far.
