“This epidemic is a tragedy, but it will be all the more tragic if we fail to recognize and address the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 and an array of other diseases and risk factors on communities of color,” Adams said, adding that the Trump administration was “determined not to let that happen.”

Trump won’t stand for any of that nasty talk.

USSG Jerome Adams must be a racist…

The real question that needs to be asked is if his statements were true or not. According to other reports I’ve seen, it is true that communities of colour are being hammered in this pandemic. We can debate, perhaps, the reasons for that but to paraphrase words made famous in A Few Good Men, ‘This WH can’t handle the truth.’

This badministration is all about white male victimhood. No one is allowed to go off message.

He wasn’t supposed to say the quiet part out loud.

That the virus disproportionately targets minorities is the key selling point to his base as to why we need to open back up.

The WH and the fascistgop have no greater task than stomping on the flames of truth.

I think all the current officials Trump has been using will get pulled as his desire to open things too soon pushes past they ability to correct him without him realizing it.

That was my first thought too.

How can this guy stand by IMPOTUS? Hasn’t he realized he’s been a token all along – as long as he spouted what Massah told him to say. You deviate, you’re back at the whipping post.

It’s appalling for us and it makes him looks pitiful. What a degradation – we’ll soon find out exactly how much he’s been hopped up on the koolaid.

Absolutely right. No one allowed to publicly deny that the true victims here are the all white protesters who can afford large expensive guns, camo gear, and confederate flags.

(Could make a lot of face masks out of those Hooray-we-lost flags…)

There was a time I’d be outraged. Now? Not so much.

Because, GOD FORBID, we get any actual TRUTH from this WH. It really isn’t good REALITY TV unless it’s totally scripted by Donnie and Sean.

So, the administration doesn’t want to make call attention to differences in the outcomes for white and brown COVID-19 patients.
Can we say they want to keep it under a hood, as it were?
And a white one, at that.

Trump claimed during the last campaign that if he were to run for re-election he’d win 95% of the Black vote, and he’s not going to allow anything to interfere with that, certainly not this uppity doctor.
