Look at that answer. She is saying that the way the labels are proven to be true is if someone first praises the president and then turns. No mention of competency, of integrity, of honor, of service to country. Just “praise the president = good” and “turn on the president = bad.”

What they mean by “team of rivals” is not what Doris Kearns Goodwin meant when she coined the phrase.
Trump likes to pit everyone around him against each other and watch them fight for approval and attention from him. That’s what they mean. A team of rivals in a wrestling match

No no no. She apparently prepares so much for these press conferences that she annoys people in the West Wing. She often “reads” from her binders that contain VERY prepared answers. Trump wants divergent opinions as much as he want to wear a condom.
