I keep waiting to hear that Harvard Law called McEnany and wants its degree back. it’s not even the politics that’s objectionable, it’s the complete ignorance. The Team of Rivals were people who didn’t necessarily agree with Lincoln and provided other view points. In this case there is no policy difference and not even the difference of i’m smart but they’re stupid since he’s even more stupid than them.

- he doesn’t want to hire anyone who is smarter than he is
- he doesn’t want to hire anyone he can’t control through bullying
- he doesn’t want to hire anyone who might have ‘ideas’ or ‘ambition’
- he wants to hire cheap (not because he cares about the money - it;s not his - but just to reinforce a sense of inferiority on his staffers)
