The White House is holding tight to its “no quid pro quo” defense, even after EU Ambassador Gordon Sondland confirmed it in a revision to his previous testimony in the House impeachment probe.

How can you live with yourself? You’ve proved yourself to be a lying delusional cover for your boss.
Good luck finding another job to pay for that house you bought that costs millions.

I imagine they think “no quid pro quo” with it’s Latin obscures the issue. Probably does with Trump’s base. But what else are they to do? Reverse course and admit the obvious? They can’t do that so “that’s my story and I’m sticking to it” is all they have.

“How are we going to impeach President an extraordinary event in our constitutional democracy, less than a year away from the next election?” Conway said. “We’re going to impeach a president because one witness has said my interpretation was X. Another witness says I presumed Y.”

That settles it. Kellyanne and George are definitely not speaking to each other.

There are plenty of jobs for liars. FOX and Friends is hiring. All GOP’ers need a SPOX so the employment horizon for rank liars is as rosy as it gets.

Has any White House had such an inept communications staff? I realize they have two audiences, Trump and everybody else, and Trump is the audience that counts, but they have never gotten ahead of this story. Not once. They have made misstep after misstep.

As the old saying goes “if you don’t have the facts, argue the law. If you don’t have the law argue the facts. If you have neither pound the table.” Trump’s communications team doesn’t even pound the table effectively.

I suspect these folks don’t understand the concept. I really believe it is ignorance and not stupidity.

If it really is stupidity, then these people shouldn’t be allowed to mastermind the opening of an envelope, because they’re just too stupid to breathe.

Poor, poor Kellyanne, between a rock and a hard place with a $8 million house to pay for.

there doing what they did with “fake news” to no quid pro quo…now its become a grey area that can be manipulated to there advantage…

need to look at the javelin missiles, that china state investment in the phillipines/ivankas sudden trademarks and the saudis buying up jareds defaulted property to see that trump used quid pro quo to enrich himself and his family…

Amazing just how little they have to work with. I guess that’s what happens when you do your big crime in strong, powerful Sharpie.

There’s the rollout of the next line of defense.

That’s why we need to stop using the phrase.

We need to use phrases like “Bribery”, “Extortion”, “Abuse of Power”.
