Several White House officials concur: President Trump’s frequent attacks on lawmakers and other people of color are a “bad move,” in the New York Times’ words.
The probe is believed to specifically target Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner, both senior adviser who have admitted to using personal accounts for official business.
While their flouting of the law should certainly be investigated and punished, the real scandal about those two is that they are engaged in any official business whatsoever.
So, now Trump will have to hold an Oval Office presser, wherein he gathers several close staffers to give testimonials that the NYTimes is full of shit, because they personally don’t think rabid race-baiting is bad politics, nor are they aware of anyone else in the White House of that opinion.
Exactly. And he’ll go around the room and each lily white person, e.g, KAC, will say what a fair, virile, handsome, non-rasict person the Asshole in Chief is, and how the real racists are the ones accusing him of racism.
several White House officials agreed during a recent meeting with senior staff that rhetoric wasn’t helpful, but said they didn’t know if they could or should try to stop the President.
Real profiles in courage. If the President is about to something really wrong or profoundly stupid (which he already has) we can depend on these senior “yes” men and women to never, ever tell him, he is about to make a mistake.
You know what? No. I don’t GIVE a sht if it’s problematic for people at the WH. If it’s that bad then get out. This is not the FIRST time, or the 49th time…it is HIM and you sit there silent or WORSE you run out and defend the racist, bigoted POS and pretend all is ‘well’. So no. I don’t care that you ‘think’ it’s a bad optic.

Using personal accounts for official business has been an issue since Bush the Lesser’s administration. You would think 10 to 20 years later politicians of either party would get a clue. Bad idea. Now we are talking about the Trump crime family and criminals are rarely masterminds in real life (only in the movies) and lets face it, Javanka is, at best, a 25 watt bulb in a 100 watt universe.

More “access journalism” kabuki. They want you to print this, that’s why. Geez, sez NYT, there are really people inside the admin who are resisting! No there aren’t. If they were really resisting, they wouldn’t be hiding. They’d be leaving and talking.
