President Donald Trump’s relationship with Defense Secretary Mark Esper has reportedly unraveled to the point where the White House is actively seeking out possible replacements if Trump decides to oust Esper.
Has anyone else made the connection yet that right-wing radicals are borrowing a page right out of Osama Bin Laden’s manual by ramming vehicles into defenseless groups of people they want to see dead?
Or that ISIS would send armed groups into towns to kill locals who didn’t fall in line?
It’s almost like you can easily spot a Terrorist by the tactics they use.
The White House has also informally interviewed several other candidates, according to NBC News, but Wilkie has caught Trump’s eye in recent weeks as a member of the White House’s COVID-19 task force.
This has nothing to do with it, of course.
VA Secretary Swats Down Report On Trump Calling Fallen Soldiers ‘Losers’
These aren’t just republicans in these positions; they’re Trump republicans. BIG difference, as everyone has noticed.
warned the President against another firing so close to Election Day.
but he is only righting a wrong.
he was only 99% loyal and there is noway trump can handle such a deficiency in his quest for total authoritarian control.
the revolving door just keeps on spinning.
Interviewing replacements for Esper?!!??
Ya mean tney’re actually vetting people???
Well that’s certainly a first. Normally they announce the appointment to the media without even bothering to ask the individual concerned.
I hear the MyPillow guy is at the top of the list, because he thinks that God sent Trump to save America.
The only strike against him is that he hasn’t fallen down and worshipped trump.
That’s the standard that they have trouble meeting.
If by "vetting’ you mean asking one question to someone who doesn’t even know their being considered:
Are you 100% committeed to Donald Trump and will you die for him?
If the answer to that is “yes”, you’ve got the job. Esper will just have to get used to the tire tracks on his back because they’ll probably never fade.
Defense Secretary Esper is as good as it gets in the Trump administration. He is a relatively intelligent and competent individual who is willing to look the other way when he needs to.
And then we will have another “behind the scenes” tell all book containing salacious details about Trump that Yesper was too gutless to reveal while he had the position.
However, Trump’s staffers have warned the President against another firing so close to Election Day.
Firing people is Donnie’s signature line from reality TV: his base should lap it up.
Thing is, though, current occupant doesn’t have the balls to fire someone in life unless it’s scripted and involves people paid to participate, like the fake Obama. Every one of his actual dismissals is carried out by a factotum, and the target is hurried as far away from the Mango Menace as quickly as possible.
I can’t see why there’s any question about his cowardice.
