NEW YORK (AP) — The Trump White House has installed two political operatives at the nation’s top public health agency to try to control the information it releases about the coronavirus pandemic as the administration seeks to paint a positive outlook, sometimes at odds with the scientific evidence.
Too little too late to save this sinking ship. The virus left the barn a long time ago.

Yeah this is sensible since COVID is so political itself. It always asks which party you belong to before it infects someone.
We see the results of politically removing a pandemic.

I really think that this time around the public is more than ready to see these people charged.

In Soviet Russia these were known as; “Political Commissars”.
In Communist China they are known as: Zhengwei (Political Commissar.)
Their only job was/is to report DIRECTLY to their respective Secret Police on “loyalty” questions and to ensure the “political purity” of the chain of command in the armed forces. They also perform “political instruction and indoctrination” for the same purposes.
