You know, wouldn’t it be a great idea to have someone who could come out into the press room and on a regular basis - maybe daily even - and speak to the press and give updates. Take a few questions from the press and actually respond with something other than name calling, even if the response is “I’ll need to check on that and get back to you.”
Wouldn’t that be a good idea, if you had a White House press secretary who gave daily briefings?

Birx and Fauci may think they can hold the line, but they can’t. He’ll be up there whinging and swiping at press again before we know it – and promoting new junk cures. He can’t stay away. Without an audience, Donald the ego construct ceases to exist. He cannot live by french fries alone.

The election will be held. In order for the date to be changed Congress will need to agree to it, and they won’t. In any case trumPP’s terms ends January 20, 2021.

The man has the attention span of a gnat. My guess is he’s bored. Dealing with reporters just doesn’t have the panache of his beloved rallies.
I also think that two hours a day is probably more work than he can physically handle.

You should. Could be something very juicy back there that’s distracted everyone at the top of the WH from Covid for the past few days.
I’m not. It’s been a daily reminder to the public at large just how much he’s fucking this up. Not a coincidence that his approval ratings have been going down the more he speaks. Also provides all the campaign footage Biden needs for attack ads in the fall, when memories may have faded.
