President Trump and the White House coronavirus task force are scheduled to hold a briefing at 5 p.m. ET. Trump will likely respond to Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) suspension of his presidential campaign and continue expressing his wish to reopen the economy as soon as possible.
If Trump brings up Hunter Biden in his press briefing, the press needs to ask him why he’s complaining about nepotism when his sociopathic silver spoon fed son in law is in charge of the Covid-19 task force?
When will someone give the Donald a watch so he can start on time?
They won’t because they don’t want to hurt Trump’s fee-fee and have him revoke their press credentials. It’s past time for them to act as journalists and not the President’s friend.
We all should remember that reality is not on Trump’s side:
Maybe he can swing the con with 10,000 cases of Covid. Or with 100,000. But not with almost a half million**
**That half million is closer to 1,000,000 in real cases
Wouldn’t do any good, he doesn’t know how to read it. Better have the hosts of the TV show he might be watching to tell it’s time to go to his meeting.
I can see that happening.
OT, some breaking news is that Linda Tripp died.
Before WaPo put her picture with the story, the only image I had in my head was of John Goodman on SNL.
So far this is the calmest and most informative briefing that I have seen.
