WH Holds Briefing After Extending Social Distancing Guidelines

President Trump and the White House coronavirus task force are scheduled to hold a briefing at 5 p.m. The briefing comes a day after Trump extended social distancing guidelines past his initial Easter timeline. Trump is also likely to address the arrival of the USNS Comfort in New York City, which is set to provide additional medical care amid a surge of coronavirus cases in the region.

Orange menace hears nothing, knows nothing, consequently says nothing worth listening to.

President Trump told governors on a conference call Monday that he “hasn’t heard about testing in weeks,” suggesting that a chronic lack of kits to test people for the coronavirus is no longer a problem. But governors painted a different picture on the ground.

It was St Ronnie who killed the Fairness Doctrine, paving the way for Rush Limbaugh and Fox Noise. The rest, as they say, history.

I don’t give a shit about Trump’s briefings. I am glad he holds them, as he says crazy shit, which will make good fodder for what will hopefully be $1B in negative TV/Facebook advertisements against him. But they are just propaganda, best covered by reporters who filter the truthful statements and present them to people, nor just give open mic night for Trump’s lies.

Jesus Fucking Christ this is like a middle-school assembly where we get to hear the winners read their essays from the Chamber of Commerce essay contest, “Why I Think America Is Special.”

Testing testing testing did we mention we’re doing lots of testing? So much you’ll forget those months where we did basically none, did that even not happen? Who can say, nobody really knows. Anyway today lots and lots of testing.
