The hold, which was signed by an unnamed “OMB career official” at 6:44 p.m. ET that day

Mulvaney just might be one of the more mentally challenged of Team Trump (besides Trump).

A couple of weeks ago I read an article on Mulvaney, and his ambitiousness (and ruthlessness) as a SC gop figure. A SC GOP operative said that while Mulvaney is very smart, he is only about 1/3 smart as he (Mulvaney) thinks he is.

So, ya, I think he really thought he/they would skate.

He still does…check out his reaction to the McGahn ruling yesterday. He could have responded far less arrogantly.

Which means that the zeal with which he is being pursued will continue to skyrocket.

when is enough guilty, guilty enough?
in the old days, there would be a crew building gallows to accommodate about 8 customers that obviously need justice applied to them.

Totally off topic but have y’all noticed our paper money being issued during Steven Mnuchin’s tenure at Treasury? The man has signed our money since the beginning of the trump era. He signs in print not cursive. Now, I realize this is a small matter in today’s world but dang … the man seems unable to write…

Every other Secretary of the Treasury has managed to have their signature affixed to our money in cursive, not print. And I am wondering then… does this make a difference legally? Should these signatures be in cursive?
Another thing… I have my own private boycott going on to the amusement of my bank’s tellers. I exchange any paper cash with Mnuchin’s printed signature for another one signed by a different person. I am also collecting coins made during trump’s time in office and I will exchange them for paper cash without Mnuchin’s name on 'em. I feel like these two “gentlemen” have soiled our currency.

I wonder if a little time in club fed would get him the attitude adjustment he needs? And frankly with such an attitude county lock up would be fine with me, county lock up in say Alabama, where the sheriffs skimp on the meals so they can pocket the savings.

Remember when they made Jack Lew change is signature when he became Secretary of the Treasury?

millions more in State Department funds destined for Ukraine were held up by a political appointee, Michael Duffey

It really looks like Ukraine funds were held up because of corruption.

Treason In Plain Sight

froze $250 million in Pentagon military aid funds destined for Ukraine

Law enforcement is not obligated to follow the authority of any criminal. Even its boss. Especially its boss. The military, the FBI, every civil servant, every contractor is obligated to defend this country against all enemies — foreign and domestic, and that includes the occupant of the Oval Office.

Other article says hold was in the wind at least a week earlier. But it was made official as soon as Zelensky officially asked for the money and didn’t immediately agree to trump’s insistence on a favor. Making nice and promising to agree later wasn’t good enough. The conspirator-in-chief wanted dirt on the barrelhead.
