WH Dodges On Barr’s Fate After AG Rebukes Trump’s Bogus Voter Fraud Claims | Talking Points Memo

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany on Wednesday predictably deployed the Trumpian tactic of deflection when pressed on whether President Trump maintains confidence in Attorney General Bill Barr after he told the Associated Press that the Justice Department has not uncovered evidence of widespread voter fraud that would change the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.

I’d say Barr’s fate is quite clear. He’s getting fired no later than end of January 2021 unless he resigns first. Who cares if president traitor does or doesn’t have faith in that corrupt hack.

“Hours after the AP reported on Barr’s remarks, Axios reported that Trump is actively considering firing Barr and replacing him with somebody more willing to do his bidding.”

Time to bring in Ivanka or Jared? Who else is left in the building?

Oh, please. Who short of Stone or Ghoulsie would stick their head into that wood chipper?

It is always worth watching Kayleigh McEnany, if only to wonder ‘Will this be lie that causes her ostentatiously and prominently displayed cross to burst into flames?’

I hear that Mark Meadows has plenty of free time on his hands these days. He rates high enough on the Trump-toady scale for the gig.

Barr would like nothing better at this point.

The “Breaking News” should be Kayleigh held a press conference, nobody came.

Wonder who is going to be the last guy to fired from Trump administration? You’d say what is the point of firing Barr at this late of the game, but Trump might just do it out of pure spite.

Remember these people are all jockeying for their next gig. What they say is calculated to help them drink from the money river, as Vonnegut put it. Barr wants to go back to his law firm. MacIlNinny wants to move on to a big PR job somewhere. In her case, the more she speaks, the worse it gets for her. But she’ll land somewhere, no doubt. Barr, he can just retire, but he’d like to have the option of having the reins on something.

MarkyMeadows still thinks he’s a decent human being. He’d be crying by day two.

It’s not spite. It’s the only thing Trump knows how to do.

I was waiting for the “Barr has Trump’s full confidence” memo. Then I would know he was getting fired.

Agreed. He did what he came to do and now he can go back to getting richer.

She’ll fit right in at Fox.

He can retire or even be disbarred but he will still be able to mint money from the wingnut cabal as a “consultant”. Look at him, he’s never gone hungry and he’s not about to start.

Kayleigh’s lookin’ a bit haggard these days…

Well she can go and start a career in something more decent like doing explicit videos with the washout baseballer husband of hers who is not so much of a has been as a never will.

Sydney Powell, former federal prosecutor?
