Yeah, boycotting one of America’s most successful industrial corporations is a perfect way of improving America’s greatness. What stupidity! What disloyalty to American workers?

And this jerk (Trump) calls himself a leader? . . . .a “president?” Trump is nothing but a complete and total failure!

I look forward to all the product endorsements the next President pushes. I need to know what to buy/not buy.

They’re trying to protect their MAGA employees from the derision they so richly deserve.

In a virtual press conference,

@SenSherrodBrown

responded, “It is despicable when a President of the United States thinks it is appropriate to, to call for a boycott of a US company where there are thousands and thousands of American workers employed.” Goodyear’s HQ is in Akron.

But they have been whining that Cancel Culture is a bad thing.
Why can’t they keep their lies straight?

Later in the briefing, McEnany was pressed on whether his Goodyear boycott is the official policy of the federal government.

“The President was talking to his supporters when he tweeted that in particular,” McEnany said.

So finally a WH spokesperson has clarified that @realDonaldTrump is just his campaign account, and thus what he tweets is not an official statement or policy.

I like how President Fartknuckle accidentally touts the tire-buying shrewdness of the Left!

"Get better tires for far less! (This is what the Radical Left Democrats do… "

It makes good business sense to keep politics away from work place. It does not help a company to offend one group or another. Goodwill’s statement was very catholic in that it appears to ban all political expressions but Don the Con thinks as a King, believes that he Must be the exception. Please make this stupidity stop . . .

This should play well in Ohio where Goodyear is the state’s 6th largest business.

Gotta protect those Made in China hats!

The President may hate the post office, but he’s still going to have to send them a change of address card in January.

Goodyear was down over 4% at it’s lowest, and closed down 2.2% (edit: oops, hadn’t closed yet. Now down 2.1% at 3:50pm). It is still stunning to see such reckless, childish behavior from the actual president of the USA. Just bizarre. But brings to mind the next presidential grift: short a stock, call for a boycott, reap the profits. Maybe Donnie gave Rudy and his children a heads-up before he tweeted, so they could get in on the action.

Our reality TV president sure seems more interested in merchandising himself, Goya, My Pillow etc and leading boycotts than solving: the cornavirus disaster he created, the economy he crashed, the Russian bounties on our military, etc.

Goodyear employs 64,000. This does not seem like smart politics to me.

Goodyear is an Akron-based company that employs 64,000 people. Urging a boycott seems an odd strategy for someone who wants to win Ohio. https://t.co/MmPD0e03ww
