WH COVID Task Force Members Push Back At Trump’s Bogus Claim Of Inflated Death Rates | Talking Points Memo

White House coronavirus task force members Dr. Anthony Fauci and Surgeon General Jerome Adams on Sunday refuted President Trump’s baseless assertion that COVID-19 infection rates and fatalities were “far exaggerated.”

Donald J. Trump is a compulsive, corrupt, self-consumed liar and criminal, totally without morals or ethics. But, I ask myself, how many times have I realized that in the last four years?

Wow. Sounding even more like an unhinged child than before. Fills me with confidence.

Dr. Fauci works for the NIH, not the Trump Administration.

After four years in office, Trump still doesn’t understand how the government operates.

Nothing so bad that Trump can’t make it worse.

And O/T, but were all the 11 Senators among those who went to Moscow?
Hoping someone remembers so I don’t have to do my own research :smirk:

And some people speculate on IT running again in 2024. How unhinged will IT sound in 2024? Able to complete two word sentences?

Something how Dr. Fauci is revered by the LameStream Media as such a great professional, having done, they say, such an incredible job, yet he works for me and the Trump Administration, and I am in no way given any credit for my work. Gee, could this just be more Fake News?

I know it’s pointless to respond to this particular grievance on his part, but the reason Dr. Fauci is highly respected by a vast number of Americans is because of his scientific and clinical acumen and his fundamental decency in caring about all of us. But, above all, it may well be due to his maintaining his honor and integrity while standing up to a bullying, deceitful, uncaring and unfeeling monster.

It was never his job, in his thinking, to understand how government worked. That was for his underlings. All he did was collect a CEO’s paycheck for presiding over the board of the USA as a director

Fauci didn’t lie to us. It’s that simple.

And the motherfucker will never ever understand that.

That first Tweet suggests that we don’t use the same methods of reporting as other countries do, and that this is the reason that our numbers are high, and that other countries deliberately under-report their numbers, and I’m confused as to what he is attacking. It’s as if he can’t keep track of his attack target: our CDC? Other countries’ CDC’s?

“All you need to do is go out into the trenches, go to the hospitals, see what the health care workers are dealing with."

Being immune for lack of better words, it seems Donnie is fully qualified to do so. But he won’t of course. Because those people, dying, in the beds, are losers. And Donnie doesn’t do losers.

You get no “credit”, shithead, because you did no “work”, none at all, except to incessantly obstruct Dr Fauci’s invaluable efforts with your ignorance and lies. And the fact that you could fire Dr Fauci (or have him fired, though that would have been a political disaster for you, as you clearly understood) doesn’t mean that “he works” for you. You wouldn’t have the remotest notion of how to be his boss.

These are the freedom lovin’, flag wavin’, Trump-ass-kissin’, Lee Greenwood patriotic-beer-commercial-singin’, proud, upstanding GOP members who visited that bastion of freedom Russia on 7/4/2018:

Sens. Richard C. Shelby (Ala.), Steve Daines (Mont.), John Hoeven (N.D.), John Neely Kennedy (La.), Jerry Moran (Kan.), John Thune (S.D.) Ron Johnson (Wi.) plus Rep. Kay Granger (Tex.).

I am sure they hummed “America the Beautiful” while they gave Putin his mandatory blowjobs. Hey, they do it for Trump - why wouldn’t they do it for Trump’s lord and master?

To Trump, every human being , past and present, is an underling. His ego is boundless.

His ego is even bigger than his fat ass - and that’s, like, 12 Jupiters!
