This could be the reason for the WH briefing:

Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told me in an interview last night that health officials are having “intense discussions” about what’s known as “pool testing.” The idea is that by testing samples from many people all together, officials could test more people with fewer resources. And those who are infected could be more quickly found and isolated.

However, this good turn does NOT negate the really cruel and inhumane act of the Trump MAL-administration/DOJ in continuing their cases in the SC to invalidate the ACA!

Forgive my skepticism, but the Teump regime will figure out a way to fuck this, pool testing, up too. If your overall political philosophy is that “public health” should be left up to the states and the private sector, you have a bad attitude from the getgo, one that is, in a sense, prejudiced against achieving your own success…

Maybe this is Trump’s Plan B, setting up Pence to take the blame for how the WH handled the pandemic. And then ditching him at the convention in favor of either “Diamond” or “Silk” as VP for minority outreach.
