Just coming from MSM there will be a thinning out of some reporters in briefing room,due to some reporter testing positive for the virus.I guess Trump can pick and choose who is allowed in,and it will be interesting to see if the usual suspect will be crowded together on the podium.I think that the futures markets open the same time as the briefing, reaction to what ever comes out.

I think we all know what’s coming. Fat Nixon is calling this press conference just to attack Dems for not giving him his massive unregulated corporate giveaway with no protections for workers. Of course, he will spin it that he is trying to help workers and the mean Dems won’t let him.
I’m not a gambling man, but I’d feel pretty secure betting that this is just going to be a campaign propaganda event.

So desperate for his mini-rallies, which amusingly are having exactly the opposite effect on his beloved Dow, the only number he’s ever been able to wrap his slurping mouth around.
Whatever.
I reject this small, sad man’s greatest unintentional efforts to make me panic. I deny him that power. Mad as hell, disgusted as hell, but not panicked.

Same here, although I might break down and mute it if I can’t handle it until Barr speaks. That’s the part I’m mainly interested in.
Why is TPM linking to the Fox feed? The npr.org feed is better. While the press is waiting, someone just coughed and was called on it. Everyone laughing, two strikes… three strikes. Har har. At least they’re sitting one chair apart now.

The idea that these are rallies 2.0 is fairly well established.
Aside from that, Trump picked a very dangerous illness which is spreading at a geometric rate for something to grift on.
The fact that grift is all he has, in the face of an illness he has done little to combat, points to a Trump-Base-Only type of presser.
With all of the consequences.

The video feed of the coronavirus task force briefing from the White House to c-span.org is not working on my Windows platform, or my Apple platform. I have to watch the Fox News.com feed.
Now the feed to c-span.org is working on my resources.
