His state taxes were just made available to Congress by NY State today, so that’s one small step forward. Yay! Agree on all points though, they need a lot more before they make their move. We might only get one good swing at Agent Orange. Best not to miss.

It hasn’t reached SCOTUS.

You may want to check your facts before posting, saves time and energy looking up the actual facts.

Which was not what your first statement claimed:

Bingo. They’re inventing a new non-privilege privilege, because they know that (1) executive privilege is narrow and not absolute, and (2) even if it applied, they waived it with respect to the subjects of the Mueller investigation.

Instead of “Constitutionally-based Executive Branch confidentiality interests” they should have just said “we don’t wanna answer and you can’t make us (without a judge saying so), so there.”

“Hand over?”
fuck that. Publish them in the NYT.

Oh Hell … I don’t know who … but there have to be a few shrewd aggressive strategic thinkers who have ability to construct a viable action plan to resoundingly extinguish Trump -permenantly!

Where’s James Carville ? If he is not up for it … bet he has a few suggestions.

and even then…

Now Congress doesn’t have to request them. They are being handed over and the Reps now have their homework for summer session. There is a lot of logic and planning behind how that just played out and the timing too.

Its almost like being in a house of mirrors, you think you see away out and BANG !! you run into your self, case in point from one of your post.

"Ross Garber, a lawyer in Washington, said Trump’s lawyers will likely argue that any subpoenas and contempt citations issued now expire when a new Congress is seated in January 2021.

But Washington lawyer Garber said there is debate among lawyers about that question, which has not been settled by the Supreme Court"

WHAT !!! LOL !

I agree with your assessment of Mueller and think that’s why the weasel, Rosenstein appointed him in the first place. However, put zero stock in anything Barr has to say about anything or anyone.

They’ll stay expired if the Republicans take back the House.

Bwahahaha. Is this a new Q conspiracy? Sounds like something they come up with. Did they ever give a reason why JFK Jr. was a no show on the 4th???

I think there’s a certain amount of frustration based on a long time of Democrats not fighting back, of waiting, of playing by Roberts Rules of Order etc. All the votes that support something GOP crap, be it a bill or a nominee, at some point, just needs to stop, as the GOP can and will turn around and say, well, why’d you vote for it/him/her/it.

And the Dems have no leg to stand on. Biden, for example let Thomas bully and scare him off with that high tech lynching bullshit, and now we have that unqualified hack on the Court.

I’ll buy the waiting for a better time, but at some point you have got to put the wheels in motion. What bothers me and many others is that the Dems just seem so unwilling to call these assholes out and start getting the word out to the peeps. People don’t listen that well, and need to have things repeated before it sinks in, and three weeks before the election is too late.

Can’t they ask the Pope to send troops?

Who cares? Congress doesn’t. The Mueller report was submitted March 23d, and Congress still hasn’t seen it.

Congress won’t even enforce its own subpoenas with contempt of Congress citations. There are crimes against humanity underway on our southern border right now, and Pelosi and Schumer just don’t care.

Every Democrat should read the article below. Pelosi is an utterly money-corrupted Democrat who is enabling and covering-up the crimes of the Trump administration and undermining Democrats who actually care. And she is doing it to preserve her own power and money.

Democrats who support Pelosi are as willfully and ignorantly blind as the Republicans supporting Trump.

Nancy Pelosi Doesn’t Know Who The Democratic Party Is Anymore

I have seen and read the factions here…But events will dictate our actions in the next seven weeks.

Think about that

Think about THAT amount of time juxtaposed over the time span between the start of the Barr Era and NOW.

Sometimes the quantity of the events and their importance create unstoppable forces

And THIS is why the Dems should initiate an IMPEACHMENT INQUIRY.

And so it goes. That “Constitutionally based…” mumbo jumbo - is part of the creation of ‘new realities’ - that the Dems will study, judiciously - deciding how to act. And while they’re studying it, as they will - the R’s will act again - in some bizarre fashion, creating yet another ‘new reality’.

It’s working pretty well for them. They’re stalling for time, kicking the can down the road to some ‘court to be named at a later date’.

It’s damned frustrating.

Yeah, you may think CRIMINAL contempt makes a difference.
Barr sure did.
Yet, AT end of day? Barr prevailed.

Not Nadler. Not Congress in their oversight.
Nadler folded.

Which was the ONLY point.

You tout they held a vote & think cause I failed to say Criminal contempt that distinction matters?

It does not.
Nadler folded never did squat.

Criminal nor not. Nadler failed to hold the vote.

Barr won.

That is the point.

Given it was CRIMINAL.

See, if Nadler did NOT hold him in “criminal” contempt?

He failed.

Dems know that.

We wait for our institutions to effect justice while simultaneously shielding our eyes from seeing what appear to be global organized crime figures openly toying with those same institutions. Money talks.
