The White House received an advanced copy of the book, or some form of it, nearly a month ago. Grisham should be asked what the administration has done behind the scenes to address their concerns about its alleged intrusion into national security issues. There are no reports they instigated anything legally that would approach a motion to suppress or censor it, or seemingly if they had a counter filing by Bolton or his publisher would have become public. So, their concern seems solely motivated by the book’s effect on impeachment proceedings, and not its national security implications.

This. They had the damn book. There are even some claims it leaked from the WH. They apparently didn’t ask for any redactions. So eff them.
(Of course, it’s possible that they were planning on playing the game of not answering the vetting request and then trying to stop publication on the grounds it hadn’t been vetted…)

AGAIN…if you’re so flippin’ INNOCENT why do you try so hard to protect Donnie??? The WH lawyers spent ALL DAY yesterday on ‘evidence of wrongdoing by BIDEN’ who has NOT been impeached and/or any proof been shown that he DID anything wrong and never, not once, showing us evidence that Trump did not do and say EXACTLY what has been alleged and what he admitted to already.

Grisham is just insulting in her manner. Shitting on a former aide is not the way to keep him quiet. Bolton is a raging war hawk and very right wing but I will concede he has a sense of right and wrong and he stuck to it when confronted with trump’s stupid plot to bully Zelensky for personal gain.

OK, here is proof they have hit rock bottom in their pathetic attempts to protect the Grifter-in-Chief.
Whenever they pull out the; “Potential National Security Violation!!!” you KNOW they got nothing to defend Cheatolini with anymore.
They can no longer DENY that Trump committed the offenses listed in the Articles of Impeachment as there are MOUNTAINS of evidence and witnesses (including Trump himself) and VIDEO OF THE COMMITTING OF THE CRIMES IN PROGRESS (the Parnas “meeting” cell-video.)
His desperate defenders now have nothing left but to try to convince an increasingly skeptical public that “IT DOESN’T MATTER”.
