In this case, I think “chart” should probably be spelled “shart.”

‘Some say I’m the biggest racist in America’ shouldn’t be an applause line.

Ghomert must be running scared. Sounds like Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) can give him a run for his money as stupidest man in congress.

After reading a lot of the perceptive comments over the weekend, and being glued to the news on TV and the Internet, I think that Mr. Putin has already lost: no matter what happens next. The reputational damage is huge, and I don’t see how he can accomplish even a fraction of his initial goals now. Also, as Malcolm Nance said on MSNBC, he may take The Ukraine by force but he won’t be able to keep it.

Putin has swallowed the porcupine with the poison-tipped quills
… now it is time for many powerful punches to the gut to help those quills to do their job!

At what point can the financial “amputations” begin? Calling loans … taking assets being used as collateral…

… Putin may have protected himself … but have a few of these oligarchs lose 80-90% of their empire and they aren’t going to find it funny …

Cluster bombs in Kharkiv, civilian targets. Putin is desperate.

Putin lost when Ursula Van Der Leyen invited Ukraine into the EU and pledged the big bucks for weapons. Putin lost period. End of story. Stick a fork in his ass. He’s done.

Unfortunately there is a lot of competition for that title but my money is on Trump and Fox.

Climate change is like the horror movies where the monster is lurking just outside of town, but everyone pretends it isn’t there. As exemplified by Mr. Trump’s failure to deal with Covid-19, the physical universe does not respond to MAGA logic. GOP pols desire to ignore climate change won’t prevent it from happening. I still don’t understand while they seem to feel no guilt concerning the terrible damage they are inflicting on their children and grandchildren.

For many this is just restating the obvious.
1.5C ? Pffft! We just capitulated to 2.6C and we’re not even achieving the benchmarks we need for that goal.

He’ll do unspeakable things if he thinks there’s nothing left to lose.

Oh, FFS, they need to quit whining. Nuclear winter will fix population and emissions issues just fine, they should keep up to date.
