On the university front, the administration seems to be threatening Harvard with blocking visas for any international students to enroll there at all.
This would be both financially devastating and also harm their academic standing and mission.
Not satisfied with being head of the Kennedy Center, Trump won’t stop until he is made president of Harvard.

It is clear that the Trump administration feels completely untethered to the Constitution.
All policy revolves around 1) taking complete political control of all 3 branches of federal government and country 2) a quixotic pursuit of tariffs 3) intended or not, complete destruction of the economy in an attempt to benefit of the fewest few ultra-rich dudes.

It’s also interesting that he said the autism is caused by environmental toxins while his lord and master gets ready to halt regulations so that we will be bombarded with even more toxins.
I realize that it’s futile to expect that anyone call them out on anything, but it would be nice if it became part of the conversation.
To be clear, it seems to me that it is more likely that the rise in autism diagnoses is due to improved understanding of neurodivergence. My guess is that the incidence has not changed as much as the identification.

In the spirit of following the money, read somewhere that the big $$$ reason Trump needs lower interest rates is the interest saving on the national debt. Needs everything he can get to fund tax cuts for the rich. Powell (and the inflation caused by his tariffs) are standing in the way.
