Cry Havoc and let slip the dogs of war has a whole different feel when using Dachshunds.

My thoughts exactly on the S African Ramaphosa oval office ambush

However, the tiny bit that got my gander was that the orange dementia monkey purposely angled the SA president’s chair away from the video screen with the insanely false video. Ramaphosa had to twist about 120 degrees and even rise out of chair to even see what BS was being played.

BTW, orange monkey, how many black farmers have been murdered in SA (answer: a lot more than whites), and how many of black farmer families got free transit to the USA?

Trump’s 4,000 meme-coins-per-plate crypto dinner is an American embarrassment

During his second White House term, Trump is best understood as a crypto industry booster who also happens to be President of the United States.

On Thursday, President Donald Trump will sit down for an intimate evening at his Northern Virginia golf club with 220 of his favorite people in the world: a group of cryptocurrency speculators who have spent an estimated $148 million on Trump’s eponymous memecoin, making the president and his associates millions of dollars in the process.

Judge blocks Trump administration’s mass layoffs at the Education Department | CNN Politics
gana/AP

CNN —

A federal judge on Thursday blocked President Donald Trump’s executive order to shut down the Education Department and ordered the agency to reinstate employees who were fired in mass layoffs.

U.S. District Judge Myong Joun in Boston granted a preliminary injunction stopping the Trump administration from carrying out two plans announced in March that sought to work toward Trump’s goal to dismantle the department. It marks a setback to one of the Republican president’s campaign promises.

I think it likely Repubs will go after SS in the near future by raising the eligibility ages and creating a scale that will reduce SS payments for people with what is set as sufficient income from other sources.

I have wondered a long time on this. With his immense wealth and need to change the world, he has done very little to nothing for his homeland.

I think raw linseed oil might not be a good choice, since it takes forever to “dry”. Maybe adding some japan dryer would work, but boiled is the way to go in my book. I was considering trying something like Flood’s “Penetrol” in place of turpentine, which has gotten ridiculously expensive.

Because of his heartless comment about Biden’s cancer. I will have no sympathy when donnie jr has a coronary infarct from too much cocaine.

It’ll have results, all right. Is he just evil or am I overstating the case?

If someone, likely China, manages a breakthrough in quantum computing to crack the “crypto” in crypto, that house of cards will come crashing down pretty damn quickly.

What pisses me off to no end is that they could just raise the cap on income which Social Security is taken out of. Currently employers and employees each pay 6.2 percent of wages up to the taxable maximum of $176,100 (in 2025).

I’m guessing raising the cap to $500,000 would go a long way to solving the SS insolvency issue.

Trump will merely tell them to stay home, on paid leave, and continue flouting the courts. A judge may force the resumption of their paychecks, but Trump sure as hell doesn’t want them actually working to improve the nation’s education system.

Bond selloff rolls on as US House passes Trump’s ‘big beautiful’ tax bill
LONDON (Reuters) - Bond vigilantes continued to stalk global debt markets on Thursday, also keeping the dollar and stocks subdued, as the U.S. House of Representatives passed President Donald Trump’s “big beautiful” tax bill by a single vote.
This reinforced a “Sell America” narrative at the front of investors minds after Moody’s last week became the last of the major credit rating agencies to strip the U.S. of its coveted triple-A status.

They aren’t going to miss it. They don’t dare to use it, and even if they did there is no way to enforce it, because those in contempt and those in charge of enforcing it are the exact same guys.
