Weekly Jobless Claims Tick Up To 1.1 Million

Lot of winning. Some are saying too much winning, others are getting tired of winning.

But how many of those unemployed will still give Trump a pass and vote for him? It would be interesting if pollsters would ask that question of unemployed and the related question who did you vote for in 2016?

And as for Trump: Lots of whining. Some are saying too much whining. I, for one, am way more than tired of his whining … and lying.

Those Trump branded Senate Rs need to get their corrupt asses back to work and at least pretend to have a heart and get the Heroes Act (not their Heals Act = HEELS Act) passed into law to help the vulnerable Americans!

Plenty. They lost their jobs because their Governor shut them down, Trump wanted to open everything up but the Dems wouldn’t let him.

They liked unemployment when they were getting it. Not the governors’ fault it stopped.

I’m just saying how they’ll justify their vote to themselves.

Am I shocked? Stunned? Surprised? Bowled over? Floored?

Uh…no. But majorly pissed off.

And, of course, the delightful Randy Paul, opening act for Yakov Smirnoff in Branson MO., has decided, in his un-infinite wisdom, that America is just not suffering enough. You see, we must be homeless and starving in order to truly appreciate how great Trump and the GOP have made our country!!!

They might consider that their unemployment could last a very long time.

They won’t. People who still support Trump after all this are not exactly playing with a full deck of cards.

Can’t argue with that.

Something else to watch - disaster declarations.

trump’s EO for $300 a week in extra UI is taking $44 billion from the Disaster Relief Fund, to provide about 4 weeks of assistance.

trump’s EO also contains a cap - the Disaster Relief Fund cannot drop below $25 billion, so the $44 billion could be reduced if the Disaster Relief Fund takes a hit from major disasters.

The fund, before trump’s EO, was at $70 billion. Subtracting $44 billion leaves $26 billion in the fund. So, if trump declares any Disaster Areas that will require more than $1 billion in relief funds, his $300 UI will end earlier.

We have had hurricanes, fires and the derecho since trump issued his EO. Has anyone heard of any disaster declarations being made at the federal level?
