While President Trump publicly claims there shouldn’t be coverage of the impeachment proceedings because his call with Ukraine was “perfect,” in private he can’t stop devouring coverage of the inquiry, Politico reported.
That’s because you and your Thugs-R-Us are too greedy, corrupt and lawless that you commit crime again and again indefensively AND not every American wears MAGA hats that makes their brains and moral compass too maggoted to do the right thing or think logically!
Twitler’s thumbs remind me of a staff meeting for the ages, which I recently endured with a big fake smile. Our human resource ‘professional,’ at a place where we’ve suffered over 400% turnover of key leadership staff over a 5 year period, blames people trash-talking on Facebook for her inability to recruit anyone who’s worth a shit. She spent a solid half hour reminding us of the social media policy, which threatens discipline up to and including termination (!) for commentary reflecting poorly on the organization.
In her defense, while she’s wrong about the social media comments, it may not be her fault that there’s a huge turnover. It could be management’s doing. (Management as opposed to staff, such as HR.)
The management of Acme Widgets, Inc., has a certain amount of leeway.
Whereas Trump wants to curtail “speculative coverage” (by which he means adverse coverage) in the press, and using the power of the government to do this would obviously run afoul of the First Amendment.
He’s mad because witnesses are “pretending to know what he meant?”
I’m not sure a single leak has been along those lines. The witnesses have been stating what was said and done, both on that call and (much more relevantly) in other internal discussions and decisions. The freakin’ call was just how the public became aware of it all, thanks to the whistleblower; the call itself is maybe 5% of the issue
(I know I’m preaching to the converted on this discussion board, but this still drives me nuts!)
