Follow our live coverage of President Donald Trump’s press briefing amid protests in Minneapolis over the death of George Floyd. The public appearance comes just after Twitter flagged his tweet about the protests Friday morning as “glorifying violence” after Trump declared that “when the looting starts, the shooting starts.”
Oh good. Our President will speak words of calm and comfort to the nation, with all the dignity befitting his high office.
I speak, of course, of Barack Obama. The mentally ill usurper who currently occupies the White House will do something disgraceful and outrageous, as usual.
What’s the over/under on how much time he spends bitching about twitter before he gets around to mentioning something about some protests somewhere about something?
I think he awkwardly reads something written for him about how sad it was that George Floyd “died” and decrying the violence by the protesters. Then he answers questions and immediately goes off the deep end into “very fine people on both sides” territory.
What character defect do I have that keeps me waiting for Dumbo to provide clarity and edification regarding the Minneapolis protests and brutality of the police?
