Bob Mueller(R ) is not going to save us.

If dereliction of duty were a prosecutable crime in DC, every Republican member of the Judiciary Committee would be in prison.

(And some of the Democrats might be feeling a little uneasy as well.)

well, here is the day that we will be either ready to celebrate the fall of trumpy off the great wall or really pissed off we will have this disease festering till Nov 2020.

Hoping for a July surprise.
Good luck America

He already did. Itā€™s doubtful that Dems win the House without Trump being bogged down by Mueller. He provided a smoking gun report choc filled with high crimes, misdemeanors and federal crimes. Itā€™s on us to do something with it, not him.

Iā€™m at work today and cannot listen. So Iā€™m counting on my fellow TPMā€™ers to keep me informed and hopeful :upside_down_face:

You are the most constructively positive poster here. My Dad was a WWII veteran and every adult American male I was around in post-war West Germany was the same.

In 1942, we never would have had a ghost of a chance with people like the doomies and gloomies here.

NOT. A. CHANCE.

Me, tooā€¦

Since heā€™s giving an opening statement that no one has seen, I have some hope.

If you read into a lot of the history of WWII, youā€™ll find there was a lot of doom and gloom as it happened. The folks behind the scenes didnā€™t let that doom and gloom get to them because there was no social media constantly tearing them down. There was no leaking. A lot of what we now know in the history wasnā€™t widely known as it was happening.

Remember that most only had the weekly news reel in their movie theaters to get any information at all.

Is it too much to wish for Mueller to have an ā€œAnd Justice For Allā€ moment today?

Mueller has filed in and their was a protestor yelling something about Manafort (?).

A hot mike caught Nadler saying ā€œIdiotā€

It is too much. I want him to present the Readerā€™s Digest version of his report in answer to every question. Sorry, but we operate in a society of sound bites. 440+ pages is too much for the average American to digest.

I expect nearly every answer to start with, ā€˜As I wrote in my reportā€¦ā€™ and then go on to say exactly what it is in there. Nothing more. Itā€™s what we need.

Oh, also, some portion of the list that @khyber900 offered yesterday.

Nadlerā€™s opening remarks are praising Mueller to the skies and giving an overview of the results from the investigationā€¦including the fact that the cost is almost zero (due to taxes recouped from Manafort?)

I suspect more than a little of this will have been scripted out in advance.

Have the two witnesses, Mueller and whatshisname, been sworn in yet?

Collins (Ranking R) telling Mueller what Mueller found and did not.

Collins: it was an FBI conspiracy.

Collins the goober says the report says tRump was found innocent. Wrong. First piece of propaganda from the minority chairperson. This will not go well for the Pukes if they keep this up.

Mueller takes note.

Nadler mightā€™ve made some news with his opening statement. It sounded like today is day 1 of the impeachment inquiry. He said the process to hod a sitting president accountable (paraphrasing a quote from Mueller) starts with this Judiciary committee. They will report their recommendations to the House. That sounds a lot like what happens when you consider impeachment articles and vote them out to the House floor.
