I have not heard a single republican say, “Let’s get the impeachment process started so we can PROVE the innocence of the president.” They just keep saying that the process is flawed… they do not care about any (potential) evidence.
Come to think of it, there are several accounts -under oath testimony- of people saying this was ‘quid pro quo’, but I have also not heard anyone (Sec’y of State, Chief of Staff, OMB) - under oath - saying that this was not ‘quid pro quo’.
His reticence has to be driving PresidentPennywise absolutely nuts.
