Watch Fox News Personalities Attempt To Explain Away Bill Taylor’s Testimony | Talking Points Memo

It seems Bill O’Reilly took the “No Spin Zone” with him when he departed Fox News.

After the bombshell news that emerged from U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Bill Taylor’s testimony, the network’s hosts and personalities took their spin to a new level, peddling absurd conspiracies about the diplomat and declaring reports on his testimony to be fake news.

Hi! To find out what I can do, say @discobot display help.

So, why doesn’t Fox bring Bolton on to discuss these matters? Bolton was once a regular on Fox. Where’s Bolton? Sitting and twirling his mustache!

Trump supporters need a brick to fall on them. Oh, you mean several already have.
Facts, logic and reason will not persuade them and Democrats get criticized for not knowing how to talk to Trump supporters. What language would they understand if not english?

“Ingraham again raised the notion of the global elite”

The global elite of united businessmen that put profits before country in the US, China and the USSR don’t seem to bother her very much.

Wait…now it’s a “phony witch hunt”. So, is a phony witch not a real witch hunt, or what? Sean, I’m confused!

Even if there is no criminal statute called “Abuse of Power,” saying it is not a crime is like saying there is technically no law against “Tyranny” — the concept is at the heart of so many laws, that claiming it is not a crime is being deliberately obtuse.

IOW: Never let facts get in the way of a good narrative.

I have to wonder how some of these folks get out of bed in the morning without hurting themselves. We used to say of a former project manager: He fell out of the tree of Stupid and hit every branch on the way down.

“Ingraham again raised the notion of the global elite”

Yeah, that global elitist that’s part of the current administration, placed there or retained there by the current administration. She’s so full of it, her eyes are brown.

“Global elite” sounds very deep state to me. You know it sounds like those people who have presided over America’s decline as businesses have given our good jobs and precious bodily fluids to China and Mexico.

Let’s face it, the global elite that has sent our jobs to China and other countries are the elite businessmen who have built towers in Turkey, Saudi Arabia and other cities around the world and have benefited from child labor factories in the far east.

Why isn’t Fox News taking on that global elite?

That guy would also need to buy a lifetime supply of peroxide and eat 8,000 calories a day without ever leaving the couch.

I must say, I was tempted.

Aside: Is “personalities” a ridiculous term to use for these babblers, or is it an accurate take on why they keep their audiences?

Perhaps he’s listening to his lawyers.

I think it’s more like “Not even they can call themselves ‘journalists’ with a straight face”.

TBH, it’s all they’ve got. Personalities. And that’s a relative term.
