Vice President Mike Pence’s national security adviser was reportedly on President Donald Trump’s call with the Ukrainian president on July 25.
Please don’t put to much pressure on Pence. Wax melts under pressure.
It’s a long shot, golden bee-bee stuff, but let me dream of President Pelosi for just a moment.
Old cotton top is done.
If Pence went into a meeting with Zelensky without knowing what was discussed on that July 25th phone call -the call his own national security adviser was on -he should immediately step down for sheer incompetence.
When he told Zelensky the money to Ukraine was being held up because he needed to be stronger on corruption, what exactly did Pence think he was asking for? Because the Ukrainians knew it was about investigating Biden.
I suppose we can always subpoena Keith Kellogg to find out if and when he informed Pence of the call.
Doesn’t pass the smell test.
Pompey and his bible study partner Pence are desperate for the rapture. Someone please tell them there are ways to experience it without going all Bhagavad Gita on us.
[Oppenheimer? I’m debating whether to ask what you mean or just enjoy the ambiguity.]
Yesterday, we found out Pompeo was on the call and today, Kellogg. Tomorrow - who, Putin?
I have to wonder who’s leaking this. Perhaps someone else from an agency circulating through the White House?
He said, “Now I am become death. The destroyer of worlds.”, quoting the Bhagavad Gita.
Pence has some ‘splainin’ to do!
President Pelosi
Spoiler alert: From the WaPo article, “Kellogg, Pence’s top national security adviser, listened in on the call from the Situation Room, which was the standard practice, but did not see it as unusual or flag any concerns about it to the vice president, officials said.”
I think “standard practice” now means the usual amount of corruption.
Also from the article, a succinct description of Pence: “Pence often seems to be the last to be aware of major problems or scandals — a phenomenon that depicts the vice president as out of the loop at times. But it also helps insulate him from controversy within the White House.” Though the “at times” qualifier is too kind be an order of magnitude.

Pence is in on it, or else incompetent and being used by Trump to manipulate other nations. Neither one is really a good look if you’re hoping to becomes president by winning an election.
To be fair, it is impossible to keep up with all the various grift… Hell, just today, we’ve had what?
*“Urgent” 4chan conspiracy theories delivered direct to the House (on Trump Hotel stationery)
*This article
*Foreign governments booking rooms at trump properties, then failing to stay there and being stuck with the bill because they didn’t cancel
*Volker met with Burisma
*DOJ intervening in NY tax case
etc…
It makes Pence sound like Mr. Magoo, flying around the world blindly conducting our foreign policy. Perhaps that’s supposed to be comforting? Because the alternative (much more likely) is he’s a weak-minded accomplice to Trump’s corruption.
Someone should take a close look at his foreign travel patterns to ascertain whether it relates at all to Trump’s demands from other countries.
Mafiosos famously like the in-person walk and talk.
I believe Pence took the VP position with the explicit expectation that the Orange Menace would flame out in some fashion or just quit. I don’t think Pence imagined it would take as long as it has. We should fear Pence’s rise to power. He is a practiced liar and a fake Christian. But he’s not a serial Tweeter and is laser focused on enacting his warped “Christian” agenda (see his Indiana attempt at a “religious freedom” bill). He could be worse than Donnie Two-Scoops in many ways.
