The Washington Post defended its reporters on Thursday after President Donald Trump bashed them over the paper’s new report about him and Attorney General Bill Barr.
Why won’t they use the word lie instead of “false accusations”?

Because it’s easy to prove that a statement is false but much more difficult to prove a person is consciously lying.

We do have freedom of a president to lie 13000 times in 3 years.

Of course the story of Trump wanting Barr to have press conference that stated Trump wasn’t guilty and the call was “perfect”. It’s like #2 in the Trump Deflect and Deny handbook, as written by Roy Cohen.
As we have reach this time and place in a Trump administration I wonder if Trump still thinks that “any press is good press”?
We do still have freedom of the press, as was evident in publishing the truth about you and Barr.
What we no longer have is an independent and credible Department of Justice with regard to anything Barr or his minions gets involved in.
