Warnock Secures Reelection In Second Straight Runoff Win

Then that would be true in his case?

Unfortunately, dog droppings are hell to get out of tennis shoe treads.

My own prediction was Warnock +2.8. It’s Warnock +2.6 at the moment with more votes to count.

A great win for the Dems, but the GOP still got 69% or 70% of the white vote tonight in GA. Ds need to get their share of white voters up to 32% or higher and drive turnout among younger white voters, minorities and <50 voters in general to make GA inelastically blue. That will be the goal for Biden 2024.

Maybe all the Austinites getting priced out by the techies could move to Georgia. Quicker than waiting for Texas to turn blue…

The narrative has been that Trump backed “bad candidates”. But that is not what Trump has ever been about, which is the weakening of institutions. Herschel Walker would fit in perfectly in the United Russia party, Putin’s party, spending little cerebral energy on the implications of his rubber-stamp votes. McConnell used much of his energy weakening the Supreme Court, now populated by clowns, but he also worked hard to increase wealth and income inequality, a condition highly corrosive of democratic institutions.

I’ll take the win but the fact that someone like Walker got so close should be a caution - Republicans are tribal voters and will vote for their own no matter how loathsome the candidate.

So deserving. I’ve always enjoyed your performances in prior threads. Glad the academy finally took notice.

Seriously. He won 4 senate elections.

It takes most Senators nearly a quarter century to achieve that.

Wish the same could be said about Ohio, Florida, Wisconsin and Texas.
