So I guess McConnell and the majority of the minority party senators let out a sigh of relief. While in the GA state they’re drawing up plans to make it harder, much hard to vote.

A win is a win, and I won’t complain about that - it’s vital. But what does it say about the people of Georgia that Walker, a person manifestly unqualified to be a Senator, or even anything other than a retired football player, got more than 49% of the vote? We have that seat for six years now, barring disaster, and while that gives us time to plan on how to keep it, I’m not sanguine about the situation at all. Nor should anybody be. Yes, celebrate the win, but keep in mind that it was razor-thin and it will take even more effort than we’ve shown to date to avoid defeat in 2028.
