The complaint wasn’t only about “the failure to do anything about genocide in the Balkans.” It wasn’t even Clinton’s refusal to clearly call it genocide and act accordingly. It was that the administration’s policy was, in effect, rewarding the Serbs for having committed genocide.

It has taken a while, but Trump has managed to hammer the executive branch of government into a mirror image of his family owned private company, with nothing but family members and sycophants occupying any positions that actually interact with him. He is doing what he has done for the last 20 years - tweeting, golfing and watching FOX news. He lives in a delusional world where he is “being presidential”, which he equates with The Apprentice - picking people for positions based on how they look and constantly talking about ratings, even down to how popular he was when he visited the site of a mass shooting. His only other concern is a worthless construction project, the Wall, and his main contribution besides lying about its progress is picking colors (it must be black). He has turned the American government into Trumpworld, and we have all been co-opted into enabling this ongoing farce.
As a result, we all feel like we have lost our minds - but what we have lost is our government in a trade for tax cuts and conservative judges. What a deal.
