Trump, given his stupidity, lack of focus or curiosity, instability, and laziness, is the puppet, whereas Vought is but one of the puppet masters. In other words, Trump is the monkey at the whim of the organ grinder(s).

Speaking of Trump’s instability, he told Fox earlier today that the war is over, but now comes word that he’s sending another 10,000 troops to the region. Why? No one knows except whichever of the many screaming voices in his head he listens to from moment to moment. This morning the war is over; this afternoon we need a huge increase in troops — I bet he’s sending them there to open the Straight because he forgot that he’s the one closing it.
Before the week is out, he’ll probably have our own Marines fighting our own navy for control of the Straight.

Talk of organ grinders evoked a weird childhood memory: I remembered attending the Del Mar Fair (later dubbed the Southern California Exposition) where there was regularly an organ grinder who worked the midway. It was delightful having a penny (now discontinued) snatched out of my hand by his spider monkey decked out in a vest and pill-box hat.
There was also a guy for a couple of years who wore a multi-colored jacket to display his wares: live chameleons with safety pins through them! It was as fascinating as it was gruesome. Thankfully, he disappeared when the fair became “the Exposition”. (The five-legged cow in the freak show, however, continued to appear for years.)

D*mn straight. It started on 01JUL2024 when Johnny the Robber Baron and the Calvinball 6™ gave the Orange POS absolute immunity for his crimin.
Trump’s claims for “absolute immunity” have been rejected by..two lower courts. In a unanimous ruling by the three-judge panel of the D.C. Court of Appeals, the court stated that if Trump’s theory of constitutional authority were accepted, it would “collapse our system of separated powers” and put a president above the law.
No limits except for impeachment and conviction (the former yes, the latter not a chance), disability (they will pull a Wilson) or death (???).
A Democratic Congress can slow the felon down in his last 2 years, but they can’t stop him.
