No abortion needed if it’s back door.

What? No comment about the use of snatch in the first sentence?

I approve. and I also approve of my fellow Kansans coming through again for human rights and health care. We (not me) will probably elect a Republican as stupid and disgusting as Trump for our next governor (Ty Masterson) but perhaps deprive him of Republican super majorities in the lege. Or maybe red state Kansas will elect the fourth Democratic female governor of the state and get rid of Republican supermajorities in the lege. It’s all possible, because no one knows for sure what’s the matter with Kansas, including Kansans.

The voters of Missouri also sent a very loud message to the Republican majority and their latest schemes to grab power away from the people by rejecting Amendment 4 and Amendment 5.

  1. Don’t frack with our right govern ourselves. When you do stupid sh*t (like make abortion illegal) the people will pass Constitutional Amendments by initiative to slap you down.
  2. You will not substitute an income taxes paid by the wealthy with a higher sales tax that is paid for by the poor and middle class. Let the rich bast*rds pay. They can afford it.

Both Amendments lost by 80% in a State that went to Don the Convicted by 18 points. Go figure.

That’s encouraging. Go blue Kansas!

I’ll never understand this fanatical Republican obsession with other people’s sex lives. (As if theirs were pure as prairie dirt)

Don’t like abortions? Don’t have one. Leave everybody else alone.

What happens when MAGA momma’s 13 year old daughter gets knocked up by her third husband? Or her brother? “We’ll just pray more”

I lived in Kansas during the Brownback years. Since I worked in higher ed, the courts’ insistence that Brownback had to fully fund schools was a big deal for me. Good luck in the fall!

This just isn’t abortion. There are many issues where elected Judges can be legally influcenced if they have to think about electorial politics and fundraisng. This plan isn’t perfect but it is better than the alternative approaches.
