I don’t think it’s a joke. No sane person would risk the life of an elderly person, let alone the POTUS, by sending him back home when a hospital stay of another 7 to 10 days could substantially reduce risk and improve his chances of recovery.
This is being purposefully done. They’re taking advantage of Trump’s impulsive and insecure behavior to put him back in the WH prematurely so they can run things.
