You would need to read between the lines regarding Texas. The executive order from Gov Abbott will have little effect on what was already in place. The biggest change is a reopening of state parks.
Don’t have the notion that is going to affect the state’s cases/deaths numbers much.

Yep, they’re a death cult. Killing people not like them is more important to them than taxes, religion or any other “belief” they have, it’s what guides all their decision making even if they’re not always overt about it.

Yes and no. The Gov says open things up, slowly, while the cities and counties are holding tight, for now.
This is just ripe for more protests such as the one led by Alex Jones over the weekend here in Austin.
It needs to be confirmed/reported where the funding and impetus for these protests is coming from. Is it AstroTurf again? Is it the Devos family and/or the Trump campaign?
If nothing else, let them go back to work and then we will have less R’s to vote in November.

Trump says it’s a war, so that’s his and his followers’ messaging. Most of us took that as a metaphor with COVID-19 as the ‘enemy’.
OK. If that’s the case, how are these protests and demands not giving aid & comfort to the enemy?
The fact is that what these protesters want – besides a populace entirely beholden to Trump – is not about COVID-19. Their enemy is Truth.

I don’t know about Virginia, but here in Ohio emergency dental work is being because it’s, well…an emergency, you know? An abcessed tooth isn’t going to wait. Routine cleanings and the like are being postponed.
