It’s been a twisted few days for Twitter’s new video-sharing app Vine: Following a surge of accounts sharing pornographic and sexually-themed content in the 6-second-long video posting app, Vine has begun censoring out searches for “porn,” The Verge reported Monday afternoon. Specifically, Vine stopped displaying content for that keyword and other ones with obvious sexual connotations. Meanwhile, Apple’s App Store, which previously promoted Vine as one of its Editors’ Choice apps, has since removed it from the Editors’ Choice section, as The Business Insider reported Monday as well.
