Nice. Gives him some measure of vindication. He and his brother are a great story of immigrant to solid American citizen and soldier. Made me ill to see the rumpians try to discredit this fine man.

There’s a reason that Trump & Co. can’t help but remind me of the Nazis and Stalinists…and lately the Communist Chinese: They not only go after their opponents, they also smear and target their opponents’ completely innocent relatives. There really isn’t much lower in the entire universe than the racists, neo-Nazis, anti-Semites, and other filth who support Trump and do/did his dirty work. Fascist wannabes.

So nice to see an actual patriot get vindicated after all the MAGAts misappropriated and defiled the word.

This is great news. Both Yevgeny and Alexander need to be rewarded. The penalties imposed by Satan’s Avatar must be expunged and reversed. We need to loudly promote the message that these men are exemplary of the behavior that is needed. That is one of the ways that you attract the best back into government after four years of corruption and purging.

ETA: Is there any way to physically place an asterisk symbol on each and every Presidential Medal of Freedom that Satan’s Avatar awarded? That award was defiled.

Yes. I hope Alexander is next up, but this is marvelous.

Anyone Trump and the GOP ran down, fired, demoted, are needed to rebuild our country.

If anyone deserves some vindication from what amounts to a concerted GOP effort, led by Trump and his sycophants to destroy him it’s Vindman who truly embodies everything you’d want in a soldier who came from another country and found a place in the military as an officer.

There’s a rather long list of people Trump and his sycophants clearly tried to destroy irrespective of their political affiliation but Vindman’s seems one of the more egregious of their attempts at the ruination of people not afraid to speak truth to power.

This is good news, but the fight still goes on to try to right the damage Trump and minority rule have wrought on the USA.

This. This out loud shouting from a mountain top.

The people that were run out, that stood up and were battered down by the morally destitute… correct this.

It was a hallmark of Trump’s thuggish cowardice; he’d attack anyone connected to you who was in any way vulnerable. It’s a failure of imagination on my part that I will never entirely understand how anyone, literally anyone, could regard him with anything but profound contempt.

As I understand it, retired officers can be recalled to active duty at any time.

I have called both of my Senators to suggest that Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman be offered the choice to return to active duty and resume his career, including being placed back into the promotion list. Both of the Vindman brothers should be rewarded for their service, Alexander in particular.

Along these same lines, Michael Flynn should be recalled to active duty and be placed in front of a Court Martial for sedition. Let him finish out his life in a military prison.

Don’t forget Captain Crozier. He was there for his crew. An American hero.

This is nothing but good news.

Can we now do something for his brother Alexander to repay him for his patriotism and in some measure compensate for the harm he suffered for doing the right thing? A really plum job in the national security apparatus would be appropriate, I think.

Dude, the failure is not your imagination. Some things just can’t be explained.

There are exceptions.

Here’s another reason to like him:

Lt. Col. Yevgeny Vindman, brother of whistleblower Alexander Vindman, suggested that Fox News be taken off the American Forces Network and TV sets in military common areas. “This is bad for morale, good order and discipline,” he tweeted.

They acted like they knew it, too. I remember that send-off. He was about to get in a car and they were chanting his name, and he turned and looked, with a little smile, and waved. It wasn’t just that the Trumpers did bad things. They hated good; they hated good people. I hope it was envy of what they could never be, something we normies admire that stood as a rebuke to them, but I suspect it was something darker and nastier.

I agree, except Crozier wasn’t a politically retaliatory Trump take down. It was a naval brass decision and I don’t think Biden could should or would step in in a case like that.

It’s a pity. But I don’t see that happening.
