Vindman Resigns From Military, Citing ‘Retaliation’ From Trump | Talking Points Memo

Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman has resigned from the military, his attorney said in a statement obtained by TPM on Wednesday, saying that President Trump led a “campaign of bullying, intimidation, and retaliation” over his testimony in last year’s impeachment inquiry.

Cadet Bone Spurs took action to free war criminals convicted by a jury of their military peers, but goes after this guy, a genuine patriot.

If you ever doubted Trump is a treasonous piece of shit…

Another day 1 for Biden: Who in the Military participated in this retribution. From 4 star down to recruit…who was in on it. Demotion and severance for anyone identified. If the Military can’t play by the rules play by the rules with them.

This was wholly predictable once Sen. Tammy Duckworth, threatened Esper, When she announced would block that she would all promotions if Vindman was passed over. Then other officers up for promotion started to harass and bully Vindman into retirement.

If the good senator has any principles she should be good on her word and block all promotions for as long as she can, but I doubt she will even consider it.

Without question…this is one of those historical moments in which the admired person is more or less free of rank and position. And an O-5 is nothing to sneer at at all, besides.

This was very easy to predict, of course, because it’s what always happens in tyrannical regimes.

Of course, it was furthered along by the wiling Little Eichmanns of the Army’s upper echelon (cross ref with “Crozier, Brett”) and those 52 scumbags of the GOP-controlled Senate who continue to make all of this evil possible.

“clear that [Vindman]’s future within the institution he has dutifully served will forever be limited.”

Serious question. Do they figure Trump is going to be in office for a long time or do they mean the military itself will punish him for speaking the truth under oath?

I continue to say this:
Challenge Trump to a public debate, all those who have been run down, fired or whatever, with the backing of the MSM and CNN who owe us for covering Trump early on like he was some thing other then a worthless POS.
You who have used Trump as easy reporting owe our country, so step the fuck up.

This had to have been an excruciating decision for Vindman. Career military folks put in their time over many years with hopes of rising through the ranks to areas of more responsibility and leadership. I am sure he will land safely in the civilian sector but, he chose a military career, and this is not what he had planned. We will put him in the Statue Garden of Heroes.
