That’s Lt. Col. Vindman to you, Rep. Nunes.
While asking Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman Tuesday whether he knew the whistleblower, which the Purple Heart recipient has previously testified he does not, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) referred to the witness as “Mr. Vindman.”
That put a smile on my face.
It was rich. Lt. Col. Vindman was very much on his toes. Loved it.
It was a good moment, and the Nunes set-down was well-deserved. Though Nunes’s proper place is back on the farm slogging through cow shit.
THAT will land.
And stay…
A muckraker becomes what a muckraker was.
Don’t dignify Nunes by suggesting he’s ever gotten his hands or loafers dirty doing actual farm work.
Once Nunes restated the question using the honorable, career soldier’s correct title, Lieutenant Colonel Vindman could be heard saying, “That’s right Private. Now drop and beat your face to the count of fifty”
Mine too. I’m at work listening and I literally laughed out loud.
Vindman is clearly and sincerely proud of his service to this country and this was a fine move to remind Nunes of that. Honest shade to clarify.
My day, week and perhaps month are made!
He has Mexicans for that.
I also loved LTC Vindman’s remark that the people he spoke to had the proper clearance – suggesting that Nunes does not.
After the dumb-ass stunt with speaking time from the other day - and the disingenuous spinning that the conservative media did … today’s headlines should be a scorching:

Nunes’ “Mr.” grenade was calculated to alter his own relative status in the room.
Throwing it back at him with the pin pulled casts Nunes as disrespectful to the entire military—with his sloppy disregard and his lies.
This is what happens when dim people ask smart people questions.
Yup. This is what is needed to shine light on the ‘paper patriots’ of the Republikkkonparty. For all their talk of honor/service/country - they’re the first to shit on the valor of real patriots.
Putin is pleased.
I have “Vindman bitchslaps Nunes” in my notes. 
That is far above his pay grade.
Maybe Vindman’s retort will add the pizazz NBC was concerned about.
