Democrat-turned-Trump-supporter Vernon Jones abandoned his run to challenge Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) Monday. Instead, he’s opted to run for a House seat.
It’s understandable that a black politician desires Trump’s return to office, and the policies Trump favors being on the campaign platforms of other candidates.
If Jones is the only R candidate in the 10th GA district, it’s worth running a democrat candidate there, because I’m pretty sure not even his own mother would vote for Vern.
She’s going to tire of sitting in Congress doing nothing, and Trump will give her a cabinet position or Ambassadorship in his second term. Senate confirmation won’t be an issue, since the nation is effing insane and will likely hand Trump a majority in both houses of Congress in the same election.
