I’m a literalist and since McCain wasn’t running for President in 2016 then how can they “call it politics in the heat of the campaign”? I mean McCain and Trump weren’t running against each other, and they were from the same party.

Military-Gate is exactly what Trump would be actually guilty of. Everyone knows Military Gate is true.
The reason this is Military Gate is because the other blasphemies Trump mouths regularly are primarily against minorities…blasphemies which are part and parcel of the Trump re-election campaign.
