Don’t worry, I put a nasal swab in my armpit, which resulted in a negative COVID test. I’m good.

I swear I remember people being charged with crimes for this kind of thing during the worst of the AIDS epidemic.

I swear you’re right - it still does. IF someone is HIV positive and bites a cop you better believe their HIV status is an issue. And they have bitten cops.

Cop-biting even by the uninfected only creates more problems that it solves.

It’s really best to keep your teeth together in your mouth because yeah, it’s very problematic to go around biting people.

I’ve known that ever since I read “David Copperfield.”

I’ve known it ever since I bit the girl around the corner and got in big trouble for it. But she was beating my head against the brick chimney and all I could do was stretch my neck and get ahold of her shoulder.

Give the guy a break. Putting that swab up his nostril undoubtedly involved some embarrassing contortions.

Well, a double negative is a positive, so isn’t a double positive a negative?

I blame the nomenclature of medical tests.

For almost all of them, negative is positive (you don’t have cancer, yay!) and positive is negative (you do have cancer, not-yay).

So if he’s positive about receiving negative results, or is negatively receiving a positive result, but is feeling positive that it’s not negative…

My sister jumped on my back once to bite my neck. Freaked my parents out and they talked about it for years afterward. I think I’ve made it clear she has a dark, fulminating side. You were entirely justified. Kids can get pretty rough sometimes.

False positives with antigen tests are relatively rare, while false negatives are fairly common. Getting a positive result and then re-testing to get a negative result is a scheme I have noted happening with GOPers before, including Trump before his attempted superspreader debate with Biden.

These guys are just ridiculous in their amorality.

Bottom line - when in doubt, wear a damned mask you sociopath.

Oh that was part of the moral panic during the peak of the HIV crisis in 80’s and 90’s. Even though it wasn’t an airborne transmissible disease a number of states passed laws increasing the penalty for suspects who bite or spit police officers or EMTs.
Now many of the same people who freaked out then won’t wear masks or are reluctant to get vaccinated.

I’ve heard law school was ultra-competitive, but that’s crazy!
