U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Kurt Volker stepped down on Friday night.
Volker is one of the central figures of the scandal that’s been rocking the White House in recent weeks.
It’s going to be hard for Trump to shoot the hostages this time if Rudy is going to keep beating him to it.
An earlier story said he was a Special Envoy.
He resigned to spend more time with his lawyers. Probably not going to be the last. ETTD. 
Hmmmm…Rudy’s show and tell of Volker’s text must have sealed Volker’s decision to resign.
Now that Volker is a private citizen, will the Criminal-In-Chief claim executive privilege, absolute privilege or threaten Volker to not be an R-A-T?
One can only hope that Volker be truthful in his hearing to Congress!

Good Mister Volker, having just become free of the reach of an Executive Privilege directive from the POTUS, has now restored the full breadth of his First Amendment right to free speech. He can now go before Congress and sing like Beyonce at a Super Bowl halftime.
Maybe that’s a flavor of ambassador. Situation’s been complicated there.

Meanwhile, the NYT practically outs the whistleblower and fails to credit a college newspaper for breaking the Volker resignation story.
His lawyers are his family now! Volker and Giuliani are a pair of Humperdoos to Trump’s Herr Starr. (Preacher reference for those who don’t get it.)
I read the text that Rudy posted, and it doesn’t prove that the ambassador/state dept initiated Rudy’s involvement. It shows, you know, diplomacy. Or what am I missing?
Why, one wonders, did Mr. Volker want to get involved in this without a salary? Expecting another kind of remuneration, à la Paul Manafort?
