Every time I think about how we should all stand up and resist, I think of the numerous massive agencies now run by his elves that this completely irresponsible and remorseless creature can cause to lurch into vile actions with one garbled phone call.

Erasing, scrubbing, or just plain hiding who nonprofits serve means that if a holy than thou Trumper gets to run the organization there will be way to see who the org is really helping. Will this administration refuse to give grants to women’s shelters? Or refuse grants to programs that help kids that have been kicked out their houses? If you can’t show who is in need then why give federal funds to help?

If it’s just words in a gassy, near meaningless “mission statement” and the organization can continue its outreach, recruitment, and support efforts under cover (as it were), then this can blow over. He won’t be around forever.

So long as we haven’t reached the point where there’s enforcement beyond the tax code, where an organization will be “investigated” and even charged for hiring somebody who isn’t a WhiteMan.
