UK PM Boris Johnson Becomes The First World Leader To Contract Coronavirus | Talking Points Memo

All viruses are like honey badgers. Some are nastier than others though.

Thanks by the way, had to look that “viral” video up, missed way back when.

“I was at a hospital the other night where I think a few there were actually coronavirus patients and I shook hands with everybody, you’ll be pleased to know, and I continue to shake hands,” he said.

I’m sure that many were—and continue to be—pleased.

Yes.

He seemed brighter as a lad, before ambition and ideology took over. As for carelessness, well, perhaps it’s of a piece with flamboyance, which he also has a reputation for.

Needless to say, I don’t pretend to understand the man.

I heard they were both doing better. That’s distressing news.

Your news may be more recent than mine. I had read that he was kind of dicey – though not on a respirator, not that dicey – and that she was doing well, better than he was.
