This is the first time a high profile social media influencer has been murdered. Who knows what that means to crime and punishment.
Truthfully it shouldn’t make a difference but ICE raided a plant in Georgia creating an international incident on the word of a MAGA social media Karen without seeking any approval upstream so who the hell knows.

The roommate supposedly has said he had no idea what Robinson was going to to. I tend to believe that though I can’t support it. But one way or the other, it seems he’s going to be implicated as complicit in the case. That’s the thanks he gets for cooperating.

County Attorney Gray appears to be categorizing Robinson’s actions are motivated by (recently adopted) left-wing sentiments, potentially in allyship with a trans roommate/romantic interest.
Is it reasonable to assume that Gray is acting honestly and in good faith?

Two different things. Gray reported that Robinson’s mother said that he’d moved “more to the left” recently. Gray also said that Robinson was in a relationship with someone who was transitioning male to female.

The right (as in Robinson’s mother, please note) conflates sexuality with political belief. I don’t, and that’s what I was saying. I find it perfectly believable that a relatively apolitical young man could have a relationship with a trans roommate without becoming a “leftist.” I don’t think there’s any way this kid was a “leftist.”

No, he was sharing an apartment with the roommate not far from his parent’s house. He was doing an apprenticeship as an electrician. Only spent one year in college and dopped out.

“More to the left” relative to what? It has been pointed out that, within MAGA, Kirk was less right, ie, more left, than Fuentes.
Also, ideologically speaking, right-wing is anti-trans. His relationship (romantic or otherwise) with his roommate who is transitioning may have changed his views on this particular issue. People are playing with words here in ways that are not legally meaningful, let alone related to a ‘movement’ or a ‘network’.

It appears to me that the argument is being made that any person or organization that is not sufficiently MAGA is by definition left wing. So that, for instance, any Democrat is essentially a radical left-wing Democrat, and any civil rights or human rights organization is radical left-wing.
